Archiving images



Hi:

In my previous message I did not make it clear that:
- I think  calibrated uv data will need to be archived anyway, 
- but  images  carry more 'easily understandable' information

I agree that in some cases it might be too expensive to archive the
images (extended configs with many pixels, many frequency channels). In
that case it may be enough to keep track of the imaging parameters
(image and pixel size, weighting, spectral range, spectral  resolution,
....) so that the image can be reproduced automatically.
