Long after you read the ``Introduction to the IRAM PdBI'' to prepare an observing proposal, calibrating interferometric data will be your first real contact with the IRAM Plateau de Bure Interferometer (PdBI).
You will need to become familiar with interferometry concepts and to use the CLIC program to calibrate these data. This document sums up the theoretical and pratical steps in data calibration. We outline and justify a ``streamline'' receipe that can be followed in all ``standard'' cases.
