Connected to the bitmap capability, GreG can also produce filled curves,
histograms or pie charts. The option /FILL of commands CONNECT
HISTOGRAM and ELLIPSE are used for hat.
- CONNECT/FILL Colour
closes the polygon and fills it with the
current or specified Colour. This is incompatible with blanking values.
- HISTOGRAM/FILL Colour
fills the histogram with the current or specified colour. It is intended
to be used in conjunction with the /BASE option.
- ELLIPSE/FILL Colour
fills the ellipse with the current or specified Colour. If the /ARC
option is also present, the corresponding ``part of the pie'' is filled
rather than the subtended arc.
So far, no filling pattern is available.
Contours can also be filled automatically, using command
RGMAP /GREY . The RGMAP/GREY command does not use the
current pen, but scans pencil colours from 8 to 24, changing the
pencil colour by 1 for each new contour. Colours can later be edited
using the look-up table facilities provided by GreG (see below).
Finally, the polygon defined by command POLYGON can be filled
using the POLYGON/FILL Colour command, where
Colour is a pen color (0 through 23).
