SPECTRAL
OBS\SPECTRAL Unit Bandpass IF_2 [/CONTINUUM Band_C LO2_C]
[/RECEIVER Irec] [/BAND code]
Configures the spectral correlator unit number Unit. Bandpass
indicates the contiguous bandpass to be used (20, 40, 80, 160 or 320
MHz). IF_2 is the second IF frequency of the bandpass center. It is
rounded to the nearest multiple of 0.25 MHz (the LO3 frequency step).
The /CONTINUUM option specified which bandpass should be analyzed
to produce the temporal data. The default is 80 % of the original
band.
Option /RECEIVER is used to indicate to which receiver the unit
should be connected.
Option /BAND is used to indicate the sideband code for the fourth
frequency conversion: 'U', 'L', or 'D'. Only D is available for 320 MHz
bandwidth; only U or L are available for 20 and 40 MHz bandwidths. D
gives twice as many channels than U or L for the same bandwidth but the
central channels suffer from Gibbs effect.
